This late Georgian villa was wearing a coat of cement render, so that came off first, back to bare brickwork. We taped around every window frame before a single board went on.
Then wood fibre boards went onto all the external walls. The detail is where the time went: chamfered at the top and capped with lead flashing, worked around the hopper and downpipe before they were refitted, timber sills insulated and fitted, and grey mosaic render on the plinth. The finish is an antique white breathable silicone render.
