Pebbledash cement render came off first. Mineral wool boards were then adhered and mechanically fixed across the front, side and rear, including the bay window walls and the entrance porch, with the rear detail carried through to meet the extension roof insulation so there is no gap at the junction.
The finish is a highly breathable EWI Pro silicone render, with a grey mosaic render over the plinth insulation and ventilation grilles kept clear. Downpipes were refitted to the new wall line, powder coated aluminium sills fitted to the bay, and the decorative timber repainted.
