Listed building roof insulation ยท Denham, Buckinghamshire

Roof insulation with lime-cork render

No boards in this roof. Lath was fitted between the rafters, vents left clear, and the insulating lime-cork-clay plaster was applied straight onto it.

An Argatherm and Argacem Ultrafine top coat finishes it. The whole roof is insulated in natural, breathable materials and the rafters stay exactly where they were.

Is your house like this one?

Where there is no room for boards and no appetite for covering the structure, plaster can be the insulation.
