Cork is the slow option on a wall like this, because a Victorian rear elevation with a bay window is nothing but details. Every board round the bay and above it was cut to fit.
Pro Clima Contega Solido Exo tape sealed the window frames and reveals before the boards went on, insulation was detailed to carry rainwater away, and the bay roof was rebuilt insulated with new flashing and tape around it. Baumit MC 55 lime base coat went over the cork, then breathable silicone render, with aluminium sills, a white aluminium verge trim capping the top and a black mosaic render on the plinth.
