Eco-extension with monolithic ceramic block system and woodfibre external insulation – Hemel Hempstead 

This extension was built with 190mm monolithic ceramic blocks and a thin joint mortar system. This system was used instead of a traditional cavity wall to make it much more energy efficient and eco-friendly. The new walls are insulated with 200mm thick woodfibre boards externally, finished with a breathable render.
